Why Bananas Are Not Good For Breakfast

You’re running late and so there just isn’t enough time for your usual cereal/toast/scrambled egg routine. But all is not lost because there’s a bunch of ‘nanas in the refridgerator, and you know ‘nanas are the perfect grab-and-go breakfast.

But in news that’s set to devastate a nation, the fruit isn’t a good option, according to nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre. He said they might give you a quick boost but in the end, they’re going to leave you feeling tired.

“Bananas seem like the perfect option to grab and go in the morning, but with a closer look, you’ll find that bananas eaten alone aren’t the best option because they’re 25 percent sugar and moderately acidic.”

His advice is to pair it with a healthy fat or spice to combat the negative effects, and you’re more likely to be full ’til lunch.

Oh well, at least you know they’re still good for practicing your condom techniques. Nobody can take that away from them.
